• Great workbook layout that is self guided and you can do at your own pace. You don't have to tackle a specific anger management problem to get great use of this book. The exercises are great for anyone looking to gain a stronger self awareness of their thoughts and emotions, an important skill!
• I love this book! I work with anger management clients a lot and this book is so helpful. There are a lot of thought provoking handouts that help my clients think a little differently about their behaviors, triggers and coping mechanisms while making us laugh and have fun with it. The humor makes it a little easier to avoid defensiveness and remain logical. There are a lot of creative coping skills discussed and the authors again use humor to point out some coping strategies that aren't so helpful.
• OMGoodness! I've been reading Sheila's Anger Management book, and it's a riot! But don't get me wrong --- it's got lots of excellent info in it. The bits of humor (not to mention the illustrations) are placed perfectly just to remind us that we're all human and struggle daily with these common emotions. WELL DONE, SHEILA, TERRY, AND DOUG!!
