• We conduct a Bible study every Saturday morning, at our home. We started using Rick Warren programs to deal with many of the issues we all face. This, like the others is an excellent presentation and leads to much discussion. It also provides Biblical ways to deal with some of the situations which we all face. I highly recommend it to anyone who cares about facing situations in a Godly fashion.
• Our adult Sunday School class is using this as a study. It is a wonderful, practical faith-filled study. We are using the book, study guide and dvd. The study does address life's difficult issues, uses Biblical examples and practical, realistic and Biblical means of handling these issues. Rick Warren's dvd injects humor in to his serious topics. We have 17+ people attending each week and the comments from the group have been very positive. I would recommend this study to any group or individual.
• Generally our small group really liked this. Our group is more for fellowship than deep study. They would rather not do any prep. This study is great for that. I was hoping for something that would dig into the scriptures a little deeper.
  Rick Warren has had some serious tragedy in his life. His faith alone is inspirational.
• This study guide goes along with the DVD and also the book. You should buy all 3 and not just rely on the DVD and the study guide because the study guide gives you the chapters to read that will relate to the topics at hand for that week. The guide is simple, straight forward and a great resource. Loved this study and it is a short one. Highly recommend
• I have read the book. It was easy reading, took notes and felt I had a reminder course on my spiritual journey while in this earth existence. I have now shared the book to a family member who also needed a bible while reading the book. We either reminders or awakening. Depending upon the person's level of awareness and/or constant communicating with God/The Creator of All Things; this book will awaken those who are lost and revive those who have forgotten life and living in a spiritual existence which prepares us for eternity. • Any Rick Warren book is a must read! This study was a real eye opener and my friend and I loved this study. In fact we both read it twice it was so good. Many questions we ask ourselves that are confusing, Rick gives answers to. Would highly recommend to any group at any level.
