• First, let me say that I had Rabbi Blech teach me in college. Decades later, I can read his books and gain the clarity he offers. For a largely Christian world, certain perceptions are considered universal. Rabbi Blech's writing help distinguish how the Jewish world sees things (hint, sometimes the term Judeo-Christian is a misnomer).
  
  I can read his books and imagine myself his student once more. His writing style is actually his speaking style. This helps make it easier to understand and stay involved in. Energetic and considerate, he takes care to make sure that no term stays assumed understood. Every oncept is explained.
• This one answers way more questions than I thought I had. Rabbi Blech really knows how to break things down to a real zero beginner. It was fun, informative, and not at all condescending. (He even took time to answer my email.) My only negative is, it's not available in audio! Would love to listen to this one while travelling. Lots of good information, easy read.
• Purchased this book to gain an understanding of Judaism. It is an enjoyable read; every page seemed to address my questions regarding an individuals' relationship with G-d. This book inspired my wife's and my conversion to Conservative Judaism. Highly recommend it to individuals interested in converting. Also recommend copies to family members who might question conversion decision. Easy, joyous read.
• Rabbi Blech is a gem of a rebbe. His books are so amazing that no words of mine can do any justice.

• It's a great book and maybe I read the description wrong but the book looks like it's had some water damage to it and the pages are discolored and musty.
