This book is definitely a must for any beginning groomer! I don't know why some people don't like this book. It is the best!"

• Love the all-color illustrations but as a new groomer, this book is not nearly as helpful as Notes from the Grooming Table.
• I am attending a dog grooming course and the grooming book that the school provides has no information at all about the equipment/supplies - trimmers, clippers, blades, shampoo types, etc. This book explains everything. I love it already and I haven't even gotten passed page 3 yet! • Not as breed specific as I thought it would be. I have a mixed shitzu yorky and I wanted more detail for the top of head and face.
• Very informative for beginners and ad a reference for braid range if dogs; however NOT sufficient for anyone who wants to learn how to handstrip breeds like Welsh Terriers. Only 1/2 page to define the method. Perfect for people who will be clipping and/or scissoring. Misleading for show grooming....no handstripping instructions.
• It serves as a bit of a crutch for me, but honestly I like this book over any other. If you want to do breed cuts, I highly recommend this book. It makes the process very clear and easy to go step by step grooming any breed, or breed mixes an owner wants their dog to mimic.
• This book is a grooming bible and has 2 sections. The second second section is a step by step grooming guide as per Dog breeds - this is indepth and explained in an easy to understand manner and the diagrams are the best I have seen on how to clip, cut, blend etc. The first section of the book is on EVERYTHING you will ever need to know about grooming, dogs, equipment, tools, work wear etc from the basic to the very advanced. I have searched for something like this book and now I have it. This IS IT, whether you are a newbie or been grooming for years!!
  This book is helping me on a daily basis in my mobile grooming palour, I love it and it's worth every cent.
• Excellent reference for pro groomers, the illustration samples in Groomer to Groomer sold me on this book and I was not expecting so much more detailed instruction on various aspects of grooming as well. The book was WELL worth the money. The illustrations are much more accurate than Notes especially the areas/lines of blending. There are also more points on the dog where you are given instructions on how it ought to be cut or brushed. Perfect.
• This such a comprehensive book with lots of drawings and a full chapter on various equipment and terms. Perfect for pet owners who know nothing about grooming like me.
